Malisa Home was started in 2011 by Dr. Maria Furtwängler, president of the board of trustees of German Doctors, and her daughter, Lisa Furtwängler. In the meantime, Malisa Home has evolved into an independent relief project. German Doctors has years of experience in processing donations, so German Doctors still helps Malisa Home in this area. This ensures that the donations are routed to where they are most urgently needed.
